As bold as brass - do it yourself seems easy - when you are as motivated to get a record out as the 3 founders of Brass Monkey Music.

Some say "Why would you want to do it" BMM say "Why wouldn't you".

The ethos is co-op cool. Put out quality music by quality artists. The driving factor is column inches through inspirational promotion and to shift a stack of CD's - enough copies of each record to recoup the investment in that album enabling the release of the next awesome title.

One thing is sure, there will never be an average record released by BMM, there simply isn't enough hours in the day to spend valuable time and money on a half-baked, bandwagon jumping Britpop pretender.
